I was on the 1st Floor with nice views but experienced some noise from the street and train station. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, though I had to keep the window open and heard road noise. The hotel was well-kept with nice furnishings.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable room, but some noise from the street.

The staff was very helpful, especially Olivia who recommended a great restaurant. The service was lovely, though the price seemed high for a dirty room.

The location was excellent, near the train station, Gun Wharf Quays shops, and historic docks with private parking. Very convenient for exploring local attractions like the Mary Rose Museum and the Victory.

The hotel's rooms are excellent, clearly trying very hard and deserve success; they were clean and as stated compact but lovely with good views and facilities for disabled guests. The service had a great nights sleep and the staff were very helpful, even though they decided to serve people who had just walked in for coffee rather than look after us so we did not know there were juices and cereal, near Historic Dockyard and Gunwharf Quays. The location is perfect for Gumwharf shopping, rail and ferry, even though it was very run down; it is great, with friendly staff and a great English breakfast, close to everything you could want in Portsmouth. The dining experience was more than a full English, though it was 'not a boutique hotel' standard, as an example-sachets of brown sauce and ketchup that I had to go and ask for, which was also quite nice from the bedroom. The facilities were good with homemade pastries provided.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! It's within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants at Gunwharf, and the price was great. The room, although small, was cozy with a high window providing a nice view. Plus, they even had biscuits and hot chocolate waiting for me!

The location couldn't have been better! Just a few minutes' walk to Gunwharf Quays, where you can enjoy the magnificent Spinnaker Tower and all the attractions like the Historic Dockyard. It was perfect for exploring the area.

I have to say, the dining experience left a lot to be desired. The full English breakfast had poor quality produce and tiny portions. However, they did offer grilled dishes which were decent.
Facilities

The hotel allowed us to leave our luggage after checking out, which was very convenient for us. However, the dining options weren't the best, but they made up for it by offering great service and a fantastic location.
